I could never be an artist. While it's true that I take more pictures when I'm depressed, taking pictures makes me happy. Then I stop taking pictures. So taking pictures actually works against me! What's a girl to do? Plus, can an artist be happy? Don't all artists have to have the tortured soul thing going on? Dark and brooding? Wait, am I talking about artists or Angel.......?
One tree
Two trees
Many trees
Gray skies (view out the window at work)
Sky is clearing
We're getting closer
Unfortunately, this is where the story ends. The sky does not clear, the sun does not come out. Stupid winter. I need the sun and a beer out of a cooler. Then I'll never take pictures again.

i could write songs a billion times easier when my soul was tortured. once it found bliss and became a complete soul, well, i music has suffered. so i am left with this choice - shawn or my music?
which to choose, which to choose :)
Hm, Cat.....which will bring you more money?
Ken, the one I said was a view out the window is actually from the tree top, I just didn't want everyone to know. Of course, I also get some great pictures when I fly around with my squirrel cape on.
EJ, beat the system, that's so funny. The System.
I like your pictures. You have a knack for that form of art.
Depression does seem to be a catalyst for creativity. To write decent songs, I'd sit alone at my place in the candlelight with a big bottle of wine and a guitar. It's the only way I could get to that emotional place where the good stuff comes from.
My friend G could be at work or just about anywhere, get an idea, grab something to write on and in 5 minutes have a decent, workable song. He drove me crazy!
You mentioned Angel. Now I'm depressed.
nice pics...
i need a damned beer. oh, and sun. ugh.
Mmmmmm.....beer and Angel.....
Do you like to lay out in the sun by the side of the pool or inside the pool? I like to float on the raft all day, so if you are by the side of the pool. That would work out well for me. I need someone to hand me fresh drinks.
Cool pics, Cindy-lou. Even though they may make us feel worse, I think tortured skies make for better pictures. Love the trees...
Michelle thinks I'll be her beer bitch just because she let me post at P&B for a while.
Tortured skies, tortured soul, I see a trend. Haha.
Ken of course I do, how do you think I get to Poland so quickly?
Egghe, for some reason when I hit the cooler first my pictures all turn out blurry. It must be the camera...
Let's see here i get get depressed then think of the Guiness commercials and say "Brilliant" and get happy again then depressed again cuz I don't have a Guiness. FUCK. Now I feel like shiat.
You could always take a picture of one beer, two beer and a smiling face as the one beer goes down, two beers go down etc.. I bet the sun would be out because your smile would be sooo bright!
Ha ha ha, Roy Hobbs - we get that Guinness advert here in Australia too. Funny...
(And no, I don't say "Brilliant!" before anyone asks...)
I like your pictures
